644 Sackett St Brooklyn, NY 11217
This intimate spot mixes together far-flung Punk Rockers and Metalheads with lower-key neighborhood regulars. Posters of Iron Maiden, Ministry and Danzig, rotating shows of eccentric local artwork, and muted horror movies all add to the stimulating environment, spiked by a jukebox pumping Slayer, the Buzzcocks and Pantera. The 23 bottled beers include some uncommon brews.Open daily.
Although I live in manhattan I make regular trips out to Lucky 13 for the incredible metal (with some punk & hardcore) jukebox & the awesome bartenders. Also, before 9 pm you can get Busch beer in a can for $1 so it's a good way to start out. After 9 Busch and Pabst Blue Ribbon are only $2 ALL NIGHT LONG! when they have DJs they play a good mix of metal, on some nigts a lot of very heavy/death/thrash metal & on other nights it can be more 80s metal & industrial, check their myspace for event calender so you know what's happening. they also have good bands on some weekends, for FREE. sometimes there are half naked girls working the stripper pole on the bar too! I love the Lucky 13!

this place rocks!
I have been going to Lucky 13 on and off for about 3 years, never a bad time. the metal karaoke on thursday nights is f'in hilarious. and when metalheads get drunk, they sing dumber and dumber songs lol. ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE id=id;) the house brew, lucky 13 ale, on tap is $3 for a pint & it's really delicious! the jukebox is INCREDIBLE, with slayer, sepultura, meshuggah, lamb of god, dimmu borgir, mastodon, just unbelievable stuff. add hot go-go girls on certain nights and you've got yourself the best bar in NYC.

Lucky 13 brings the metal!
I recently attended a night at Lucky 13 called Blessed are the Sick which was a full night of nothing but EXTREME metal, we're talking everything from Morbid Angel to Cannibal Corpse to Death... I had been in before on a friday night and the jukebox was pumping out Venom and Slayer!! this place is a MUST go-to!! and they have $2 beers all the time, even during peak time, can't beat that. near trains too.
