    metal ..here... no hope.....

you would be better off going to fibbers rock bar on the quays if you must go to a fibbers.. they forsake metal for dance music and foam parties ..

    Good metal cave

Was there on a Thursday. Didn't expect it, but the place was jam-packed. They play metal, metal and more metal, have a dance-floor and booze. Great place for a metalhead. Being of a certain age, the people present did strike me as very young, most of 'em around 20.

    Good time had

If only they had a Fibbers back home. Just spent three nights in a row there (including Friday, was pretty full actually?). Great live metal on both Friday (check out Panic Cell, nice) and Saturday plus low-cost booze on Thursday. Would come back to Ireland just to visit Fibbers again. Off to London tomorrow, hopefully they've something similar!

    Fibbers

A juke box and stage upstairs, then a bar, dancefloor and Dj downstairs. It's spacious and not too loud except on the dancefloor. Music, everything from the Cure to Carcass, it's here. Wednesday and Thursday is 3 euro all drinks, Saturday is also good, avoid Friday, it's empty but some good metal played.
