Eddie's is a good place to go to for an excellent night of fun. A wide variety of bands play here every week, with an all request Friday night (and the DJ will play it if he has it!). Plus with added bonus there tends to be a variety of different additional things on too.
Saturday nights is the big one though with modern and 90's classics in the main room, Rock and hair metal classics in the room next door, downstairs being goth, industrial, new wave and 80's to boot.
If you go, you'll find the people are pleasant and chatty, especially outside with the smokers ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE id=id; the dance floor will call you at least 3 times to swing your head or strut your stuff with the air guitar and they have taxi's on call if you wish to end your night in Brum there too! Plus you'll wake to find you've got extra cash left over because of the prices at the bar!

An Old Favourite
Edwards has been a fixture on the Birmingham rock scene since before there was one! It is a great club with a really good atmosphere. I have nothing good to say about the guy who runs it but the door and bar staff are always very friendly. The three rooms are nicely distiguished from each other in that you don't get much overlap of music. The glam room is the smallest and often the most fun. The main rock room can get very busy and you may wait awhile to get served. Best suggestion, go up to the Goth room - they drink slower (getting drunk may reveal a happy side) so there is less of a queue at the bar. The floor isn't too sticky and the toilets aren't too disgusting.
