Every Thursday night, Shed 5 hosts Thrash Thursday's at the Beergarden, upstairs at the Surfer's Paradise Tavern, located in the heart of Surfer's Paradise. This is the only Rock/metal/punk night on the coast, Usually costs $5 entry, but has cheap drinks. Most weeks there are 3/6 local bands playing, including some touring from out of state.
