The Zoo is the only bar that holds Manitoba Metal Festival, and always has decent music on. Beer isn't particularly cheap, but if you're coming to Winnipeg, for the weekend, you can usually count on a decent show.

Some other venues to check out are: The Collective Cabaret, The Royal Albert Hotel, and The Pyramid Cabaret. Between these, and the Zoo, you'll find something worth your night.
