This is a great store for people who aren't into more mainstreem black metal, industrial and noise. The place is neat, clean and well organized. I was able to pick up some releases that I had assumed I would have to obtain by mail order. The staff was helpful and able to make some good suggestions for new bands to check out, something that any music fan can appreciate. Defintely pay them a visit if you are looking to expand your collection beyond the big main metal labels. It's tough for records stores anywhere, especially one that caters to such a specialized niche, so I hope these guys make it.

This store is in the basement of a reggae shop in the East Village. Literally underground, you have to climb a ladder to get there.

Unfortunately if you aren't into the extreme underground/local New York black metal scene you won't really find anything.
