Great Metal scene here and also an all ages Hardcore and Punk scene, and both scenes support Metal too.
Very solid club scene for Metal. Many of Victoria's most upscale clubs have supported live Metal at some time or another. Clubs come and go though, but most of the best ones for Metal are in the downtown vicinity.

Second hand record store with a KILLER Metal section. The manager there knows his shit and orders from several underground labels. Very affordable and very diverse.
