Created in the 1970's and once a "Welsh Speakers Only" club (but no longer), Clwb Ifor is a three floor live music and night club. The venue plays hosts to many different club nights each week and is used as a regular location for touring bands.

Notable acts to play the venue include Cathedral, Pavement, Lostprophets, Bullet for my Valentine, Turisas, numerous rock and metal tribute acts and a whole host of others.

The venue once played host to long running rock club night "Rock Inferno" every Tuesday but this closed down some years ago. There are currently no purely rock or metal club nights taking place in this venue (aside from the Friday night "Dudes Abide" but this is predominantly Indie and when they do play "Rock" it is often generic, classic stuff.)
