Bogiez

Cardiff's "Ultimate Rock, Metal & Alternative club night". Takes place every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month (and 5th Saturday when there is a 5th Saturday in the month).

Long history to this night. Started in the 80's, closed late 90's and reopened in 2003 by the current operators. The night relocated from its long running home, The Point live music venue (in Cardiff Bay) in early 2009 and has now settled at the Millennium Music Hall, a large and successful 3 room venue in Cardiff city centre.

The club has an active web site with a huge gallery. Check their site to find out whats going on as they have regular exclusive promo nights and theme parties.

Sam BGreat Cardiff club. Myself and the lass went down for the first time last week, good tunes, well priced bar and we even won a CD for our troubles (though not the Sonisphere tix they were giving away). Great night out.

SamSo you didn't notice the £1.80 Lagers, £2-£2.50 beers/Ciders and £1.50 house spirits then?

Even with the DJ announcing them several times?

Silly rabbit...

SamNot to worry, bogiez sure as hell isn't closing down. The club reopens from the 21st march in it's new, city centre, home of the venue, on mary ann street. Opening hours are 9pm-3am (with the scope to go MUCH later from what i was told, it's got a ridiculously late license) and entry remains at £4.

Cardiff's best rock club stays running.

Big bad bobCan't fault the place. Room 2 makes for a nice change if the main room isn't to taste, beer's cheap and women are plentiful.

Halloween was awesome, got a free cradle of filth cd for my troubles.

Needs to be more regular though. Sometimes it's a pain to have to check online to see if it's on.

MarcIve had some fantastic nights at Bogiez, it's always awesome fun, excellent music and cheap drinks, foxy girls (and boys ;P) and a great atmosphere..Ive made loads of friends here since I moved to Cardiff, and it's down the bay so it's a beautiful location and close to train station and taxi rank!
JeffI recently moved from the Midlands to Neath and since the move I\'ve been hooked on this place. The atmos is amazing and everyone is mega friendly. Music policy in there seems to be \"Anything goes\" as generally you\'ll hear something for everyone. Reminds me a lot of Brum XLs in it\'s hayday, debauched, cheap and an amazing venue. Love it. Couldn\'t recommend it more.
