The anchor is a fucking great metal pub. Big enough, good music and friendly staff. They also have a little stage for small-format gigs, although there is admission at concert nights.

They have a more than wide beer assortment, but they are not cheap. The average Stockhom price for beer is 50 SEK and they charge a little bit more.

Metal-place rather than rock.. Out-of-towners, bikers and rocklovers! Nice live acts on weekends, check out local papers for info!

Very fancy looking pub, thought I was at the wrong place. Bouncer told me it was an 8 dollar entrance fee. I asked him if it was worth it, he said no. Why visit a place that the employees don't even recommend?

I went there in December 2007 with a mate whilst on a business trip, it played a variety of rock/metal music and had a cover band come on quite late into the night when we were all drunk. Great little place!

I'm from Turkey and I went Pub Anchor in summer of 2005.All I can say,it's a real "headbanger's amusement park"!!!Whether you are metalhead or not,you will enjoy it for sure!
