Probably the newest and best metal bar in Bavaria´s capital city. You will hear everything from Kyuss to Brutal Truth... heavy metal, death metal, black metal, speed metal... if it ends with "metal" they will play it. On weekends it gets really crowded as drinks are not that expensive.
Decoration might be a little bit better, but if music is what matters, you are definitely at the right place in town. Do not miss it.

Is very little but in a fantastic place, very near to the Lowenbrau Beergarden and 10 minutes walking from the center. Recommended.

The RAW metal bar lived up to its review! They played a really diverse range of metal and the drinks were very reasonable priced. I only had one night in Munich and luckily this bar was pretty close to the downtown hotel I stayed at. I happened to go on a slow night, so I had lots of opportunity to talk with the friendly patrons and the owner and bartenders. They also played lots of my requests --Death, Pantera, Exodus, Motorhead, and of course, Slayer (probably b/c it was slow, but I also think they approved of my taste :) I wish we had a metal bar like this in my city--but it's probably good for my wallet and my liver that they don't because I'd be there every night. Would definitely make it a point to stop here again when I go back to Germany.
