I was stunned when I saw the place. Remember your fellow metalhead's student yukiest room? Well, it is quite the same, about thrice the size. Boss is very nice and serves good beer, though he doesn't appear to be a fan of talking to strangers. The music level is low indeed, and sometimes you just wanna tell him to pump it up because good Death Metal can hardly be enjoyed when played at 40dB. So it is. Dark , small, friendly and a bit stinky. Make up your minds friends!!

After I moved to France from Holland and finally got settled in a nice apartment I had to go outside and find myself a nice place to have a drink with friends.
It didn't take long before I found myself in "Le Kilt". A small, dark, broody yet lovely bar where they serve probably the best and the largest selection of beers in the whole of the Paris (Ile de France) area. It has been my bar of choice ever since.

You will find here a mixture of lots of different people ranging from the obvious french to the germans and english etc.

The owner and also the only employee of Le Kilt is David, a friendly metalhead who speak near perfect english and has a love for streaking in his own bar on special occasions. :)

The music is always Death/Dark/Black metal, but never at such a volume that you can't socialize with all the interesting people you will surely meet there if you ever happen to stumble in this pub.

From time to time there is live music, but up to this day I've only seen a handful of "concerts" here, however, when they are given they are awesome! :)
