Normandy has an amazingly rich HxC-grindcore-Extreme-Metal scene, especially the Evreux zone with bands like As We Bleed, ETP, Burn Hollywood Burn...L'Abordage is Evreux's main venue during the year (and a must-play for many big french bands like Lofofora, ETHS, Watcha, Gojira and for foreign beginners when having their first french tour).You can check their website if you're interested in smaller, more extreme acts in the country around. They also co-organize the yearly event "Le Rock Dans Tous ses états", a generalist-Rock summer fest which takes place in the town hippodrome, with sometimes big acts like Soulfly, Radiohead or the Pixies.
