Their website says: "With state of the art sound and light Rock city continues to deliver all your favourite Rock n' Roll classics, Heavy Metal tunes, Grunge, Party anthems and current top 40 hits from around the globe...performed by top international and local musicians."

Rock City boasts cover bands every night - playing predominantly AC/DC, Metallica, Guns n Roses, Nirvana and the usual hits. Unfortunately the set list doesn't differ from night to night. It is also very loud so not particularly appealing for conversationalists, though superb if you feel like listening to "party metal" and getting yourself sufficiently shitfaced.

Like everywhere in Patong Beach, they have table service (140 baht per beer) and you can smoke inside.
